Tower Crane Erection at Trego Road

Our Trego Road project saw a significant milestone achieved today with our tower crane being erected. Having a 30m tower height and a 40m jib length the tower crane will make it much easier and safer for the site workforce to carry out their daily lifting tasks throughout the construction phase.

Trident Lifting Solutions Ltd. were appointed by CMT Construction to supply the tower crane and driver with our groundworks subcontractor Konform initially utilising it before CMT Construction take it over later in the year.

The project will consist of ground and basement commercial spaces and 52 residential units above over 5 levels, enjoying public spaces on the ground floor and a collection of gardens and balconies throughout the upper terraces.

Completion of Picture House Apartments

Project: 245 Wood Street E17 3NT

CMT Construction are pleased to announce that we have achieved substantial progress our Wood Street project along with completion of Picture House Mews, with handover of the final apartment block in progress and new buyers due to move in in three weeks time.

Picture House Apartments & Mews consists of two blocks of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments, three mews houses and some commercial space.

Tastefully and sympathetically designed, these unique buildings will maintain the heritage of Walthamstow & the history of movie sites.

There is also a large communal roof terrace with 180 degree views of the local cricket ground.

All is completed to an exceptionally high standard with finishes to match.

Tower Crane Erection

Project: Lee High Rd, SE13

Our Lee High Road site has become an instant landmark since the installation of our 24 metre high Raptor luffing crane. With a 32 metre jib, this crane will enable the site team to efficiently distribute materials safely around the site during the construction phase. Once completed, this project will consist of 17 residential apartments with 2 commercial units to serve and improve the amenities of the local area. Our CMT trget completion date is March 2023.

Getting Ready for the Basement Slab

Project: Lee High Rd, SE13

Works are progressing well at our Lee High Rd project in Lewisham to provide seventeen new apartments and two commercial units. Demolition is complete, pile foundations have been installed and the first phase of bulk excavations has started. Now it is time to install pile caps, drainage and lift pits before fixing reinforcement steel and pouring concrete for the basement of the reinforced concrete frame. This will make up the basement, ground and first floors of the development and it will contain the two commercial units, disabled parking spaces and entrance to apartments. All carried out surrounded by red routes, restricted roads, party walls and a river.

Burleigh Gardens Project

We have finally managed to start building upwards from the old original building. Two storeys of steel and concrete composite decking ongoing!

CMT CONSTRUCTION have ESS Steel Ltd and Modern Formwork & Groundwork Ltd working full steam ahead at Southgate on our new hotel.

Lee High Road Project

Residential project for CMT CONSTRUCTION kicks off on Lee High Road, Lewisham. We’ve been pushing hard to get our enabling and frame contractor MCHALE CIVIL ENGINEERING LTD to start wIth CANNON PILING LIMITED due to rock up next week. 

We are looking forward to getting these 17 units occupied in early 2023. The retail/commercial space on the corner on two stories would perfectly suit a local.
