Some wonderful news from across the KNT Group family. Cladmate Façade Systems has been officially accepted into the Regenerative Architecture Index 2026 (RAI 2026) — published by Architecture Today in partnership with Architects Declare — in recognition of its NestClad integrated biodiversity cladding system and our Trego Road project.
Trego Road, delivered by CMT Construction, is the UK’s first completed and monitored integrated biodiversity brick slip cladding installation. The NestClad system builds habitat features — bird nests, bat roosts and bee nests — directly into the façade, supporting urban biodiversity without compromising on design or performance.
As part of RAI 2026, the NestClad / Trego Road case study will be exhibited at Regenerative Design 2026 — a month-long exhibition at The Building Centre, Store Street, London, running throughout October (1–30 October 2026). The exhibition opens on Thursday 1 October.
